VetJoy respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect across our products — the Student Planner app, Patient Case Log (app and notebooks), and digital downloads — and how we use it.
What We Collect
- Account info: your email and any profile details you provide, if you create an app account.
- Orders: app purchases are handled by Apple/Google (we don't see your payment details, just purchase and renewal status via RevenueCat). Notebook and PDF orders are handled through our online store, which requires a shipping address and/or email for delivery.
- Usage data: how you use our apps, so we can improve them.
- Device info: basic device and app version info, for troubleshooting.
How We Use It
To provide and improve our products, verify purchases, fulfill and ship orders, deliver digital downloads, communicate with you about your account or order, and respond to support requests. We don't sell your personal information.
Who We Share It With
- Supabase — account authentication and storage
- RevenueCat — subscription management
- Apple App Store / Google Play — app payment processing
- Shopify — order processing for notebooks and digital downloads
- Shipping carriers — delivering physical orders
Each of these handles data under their own privacy policy.
How Long We Keep It
As long as your account is active, or as needed to fulfill orders and provide support. You can request deletion anytime by contacting us.
Your Rights
Depending on where you live, you may be able to access, correct, or delete your personal information. Just reach out to us to make a request.
Children's Privacy
Our products are made for veterinary students and professionals, not children under 13 (or 16, depending on where you live). We don't knowingly collect information from kids.
Security
We take reasonable steps to protect your data, but no method of storage or transmission is ever 100% secure.
Changes
We'll update the date above if this policy changes materially.
